The new Reed’s Crossing Town Center development in south Hillsboro is just over 80% leased, according to project developer Gramor, with more new leases on the way.
The latest business to announce its plans to open at the retail center is Pets on Broadway. The locally owned pet store will open in an 8,030-square-foot space in the shopping center with products for a wide range of pets. A news release from Gramor said the shop will open in July.
“We're thrilled to be part of this exciting new community,” Joe Morton, one of the owners of Pets on Broadway, said in a news release. “We hope to be a great addition for the families, businesses, schools and groups, both present and future.”
Spruce Veterinary Urgent Care also has plans to open a location at Reed’s Crossing Town Center.
The center includes multiple national and local dining options with Qdoba opening its 10th Portland location and Hops n Drops with its fourth Oregon location. Hops n Drops CEO Kevin Eggen said about 100 employees will be hired for this development.
California-based Redstraw Tea Bar will also open a location at the shopping center.

Gramor Development’s director of leasing Marc Strabic said the pandemic and hybrid workflows changed these suburban shopping center developments from evening and weekend traffic drivers to everyday destinations.
He added that shoppers in the suburbs are looking for places with a mix of national retailers and local brands.
“For at least the next year or two, you’ll see continued demand for these types of environments,” he said.
Tenants will start to open throughout early 2025.
